There are times when your primary care provider may need to attend to another matter, such as work, meetings, school, or other responsibilities. In times like this, our qualified and trained staff can temporarily take their place to provide continuous care. We offer various types of respite care, such as overnight or weekend respite. If caregivers need to go out, take a rest, have space to study, or spend more time at work, a respite care provider can attend to the individual while their family is absent.
At Owen Health Care, we recognize that taking care consistently and for long period of time for an elderly, psychologically ill, or developmentally disabled loved one can be stressful and time consuming. We understand that at times, rest and respite is needed by the primary care provider. Such rest and respite can also be beneficial for both the individual and the care provider.
